Chihuly Glass Museum

The ramen place I wanted to hit before we drove up into Canada only opened at noon, so with time to kill, we took full advantage of our hotel’s (University Inn Hotel) free shuttle service to hit up some tourist attraction around the city.

We dropped off at the Space Needle, and wandered into the Science Center to catch the IMAX screening of the Last Reef. Enjoyable 40 minutes ogling at spectacular close ups of nudi branches in motion, manta rays, and sharks.

Afterwards, with a little more time on our hands, we decided to check out the recently opened Chihuly Museum. The museum has eight different galleries plus an outdoor garden showcasing the whimsical glass sculptures by Dale Chihuly. What an amazing gem of a place!
