Knowing that I’m a super lazy cook – if that term could even be applied to me at all – my aunt told me an idiot-proof recipe for baked salmon. I’ve used it a few times, and it is absolutely simple, no fuss, and soooo delicious.
Essentially, all you need is:
1. Fresh steak of salmon
2. Honey mustard
3. Dijon mustard
4. Aluminium foil and baking tray
Slap on a generous dollop of the mustard sauces to the top of the salmon, cover with aluminium foil, and slide into oven to bake for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
That’s all. 🙂
And for the also super simple and super delicious sides of greens to accompany the salmon: Put some stalks of asparagus into a microwavable container (two-layer deep), add a splash of water, cover 3/4 of the container with shrink-wrap, and put it in the microwave for about a minute.
Excellent with some viognier or sauvignon blanc or chardonnay. 😀
