Omakase at Katsu

A once a year treat to ourselves – omakase at Katsu. Amazing experience – my mouth just waters thinking about it.

The beef tartare with ahi tuna and quail egg mixed with ponzu sauce was the best I’ve ever had.

Flounder in lemon broth – so refreshing

Fatty toro that melted in your mouth

I love shitake mushroom tempura – it always reminds me of trees with covered in snow in the winter time

Chilled dish of unagi with pickles

Waygu beef – so tender, so fatty, so delicious

I was filling up fast by this point, but couldn’t resist lapping up all the chawan mushi with alaskan king crab
